FLAGSTAFF, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- A man is suspected of stealing a FedEx truck and crashing it into the Flagstaff Mall on Monday morning, causing thousands of dollars in damage.

According to Flagstaff police, the man drove the truck into the mall's main entrance around 10 a.m. After crashing, the man, later identified as 26-year-old Ramon Muniz, attempted to break into Dillard's before leaving the mall through a service hallway, police said. Muniz is also suspected of having committed other thefts and burglaries in the Mobile Haven neighborhood of Flagstaff. The thefts are suspected of having started in Winslow and made their way to Flagstaff.

The man stole a FedEx truck then crashed into the main entrance of Flagstaff Mall on Sept. 27. 

Flagstaff police say the incident is unrelated to another burglary reported at the mall over the weekend. Flagstaff detectives are currently working with the Winslow Police Department for more information. Muniz is being charged with disorderly conduct, felony criminal damage, multiple counts of vehicle burglary, felony theft, multiple counts of felony endangerment, reckless driving, and multiple counts of vehicle theft. The investigation remains ongoing.
