PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Phoenix police have identified the driver suspected of driving under the influence when he struck and killed a pedestrian Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded to the area of 43rd Avenue and Butler Drive, which is just north of Northern Avenue, around 2 p.m. for reports that a man, later identified 56-year-old Alberto Anthony Urbina, was struck while cross the street. Police say a vehicle was speeding north on 43rd Avenue when it struck the pedestrian, who was in a marked crosswalk. Phoenix fire crews responded and pronounced the man dead.

The driver of the vehicle, later identified as 21-year-old Sebastian Garcia-Castillo, stayed at the scene and spoke with detectives. Authorities say speed and impairment may have been factors in the crash.  He was arrested at the scene. Police said Sunday morning that he has been booked for manslaughter.
