PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Phoenix police are searching for a suspect after a 19-year-old man was found shot to death in the middle of a street Tuesday evening.
According to Sgt. Maggie Cox, just before 8 p.m. a passerby saw 19-year-old Matthew Chamberlain lying in the road in a neighborhood near 64th Street and Thunderbird Road and called 911. The fire department arrived and pronounced Chamberlain dead from a gunshot wound.
Cox said investigators are working to find out the circumstances of the shooting and who the suspect may be. The investigation is ongoing.
