Man dead after a fight leads to a shooting in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- A man is dead after a fight led to a shooting early Monday morning in Glendale.

Glendale police say it happened just after 1 a.m. near 47th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. While waiting for a party to start, a group of people were approached by six to seven men who were armed with guns and rifles. The suspects robbed the group, but 18-year-old Luis Luna Ogazon did not want to give up his personal items. After Ogazon refused, one suspect shot him. Ogazon was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries, and later died from his injuries.

Police say the suspects left the area and have not been found. According to police, the suspects are described as black males wearing dark clothes, hoodies and masks. The suspects were last seen leaving in a dark four-door vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
