BUCKEYE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Westbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Buckeye have reopened following a crash involving several vehicles.
According to DPS, the crash occurred on westbound I-10 at milepost 116, near State Route 85 in Buckeye. DPS said that the crash involved several vehicles and that injuries were involved. The severity of injuries are unknown at this time.
Traffic is still heavy in the area due to the hours-long closure. An investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing. There are also long delays on I-10 eastbound starting at Bullard Avenue due to ADOT construction projects. A closure is in effect between 107th and 99th avenues.
