TEMPE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – "Hamilton" musical tickets are set to go on sale Monday, June 21 at 10 a.m. Hamilton is set to return to ASU Gammage from Sept. 8, 2021 – Oct. 10, 2021.
The musical is one of the most popular traveling shows, so there is a purchase limit of eight tickets per account for the show, and prices will range from $49-$149. There will also be a select number of premium seats starting at $299. In addition, there will be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances. ASU Gammage ticket office does note that there will be no in-person sales at the box office, only online or by phone.
"Hamilton" combines singing and rapping to tell the story about founding father Alexander Hamilton. It has nonwhite actors as the Founding Fathers. Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the the critically-acclaimed musical, describes it as "America then, as told by America now."
This will be the return of Broadway to ASU Gammage after more than a year of closure due to COVID-19. Last year, seven Broadway shows had to be canceled or rescheduled, including "The Lion King," "Frozen" and "Jersey Boys."

This year, ASU Gammage will welcome back patrons and three shows for fall 2021, beginning with "Hamilton." For 2022, seven shows are slated to return, including "The Lion King" and "Come From Away."
For safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone must wear a mask while in the building. In addition, there will be frequent cleaning and sanitization throughout the show at high touchpoints, and there will be additional hand-sanitizing stations in the lobby.
