Eggstasy tip

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Amid the widespread restaurant closures due to coronavirus concerns, two diners made sure to brighten the day for the staff of one local eatery.

Eggstasy, a brunch restaurant in Scottsdale, posted a heartwarming photo on their Facebook page Tuesday morning. A pair of diners named Georgia and Hattie Grace left a $1,000 tip on a $69.91 bill.

Eggstasy added the hashtag #REALLYGOODHUMANS.

On Tuesday, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego declared a state of emergency in Phoenix. As part of the declaration, bars will be closed and restaurants will be limited to take-out, delivery, or drive-through options.

With restaurants around the country either closing or eliminating dine-in options, some generous people have been dropping large tips to help out wait staff.
