PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - The Arizona Cardinals are still celebrating from Sunday's big win over the Browns.
Hank the dog teamed up with Arizona Cardinals players and cheerleaders Tuesday to pay a special visit to sick kids at Phoenix Children's Hospital as part of their annual Paw Express. Even Big Red got into the act, dressed up in a Santa suit, walking the halls, helping deliver stuffed animals.
Patient Gerardo Haro was pretty fired up to meet Cards running back Kenyan Drake, who scored four touchdowns a couple days ago.
"It was great because I used to watch him in college years so i knew that there was a chance Cards would get him one day," said Gerardo.
A number of children were given autographed footballs. Others received stuffed toy dogs each wearing a white jersey with the name and number of a player on the back. The annual event called Paw Express is always a big hit with players and patients.
