Can we get an "awwww?"
The Phoenix Zoo introduced its new baby giraffe, Rafiki, to her father, Miguu, this week.
The photos of the introduction say it all, as father and daughter affectionately greeted each other.

Now, zoo visitors can see the Masai giraffe family, mom (Imara), father (Miguu), daughter (Rafiki) and her reticulated giraffe “aunties” on the Savanna in the mornings.
We're going to stick our neck out and predict this family will get lots of visitors.
The zoo's other Masai family, Sunshine and Siku, have not yet been introduced to Rafiki, but that will happen in the near future.
The Phoenix Zoo’s animal keepers have been busy introducing Rafiki, the newest female baby giraffe, to the rest of the species on the Savanna.
Rafiki was born on June 26.
Rafiki is a Swahili name which means “friend."
Her mom's name, Imara means "strength" in Swahili. Miguu means "legs."
