"Not every teacher has a student reach out on their behalf to honor them with that, so it means a lot to me," said Dan Van Tienderen, a special education teacher at Cortez High School.
"We think you guys will inspire other teenagers, not just across the Phoenix area, not just across Arizona. We think you will inspire teenagers across the United States and maybe even the world to do the same."
hoenix is one the biggest major cities in the country to not have a Holocaust education program or a place for anyone with interest, ties or for students to go to directly to learn about the Holocaust and other genocides which makes it even more of a reason to get this education into school curriculum.
