REXBURG, ID (3TV/CBS 5) - Lori Vallow, the mother of two missing kids with Arizona ties, is back in Idaho. She was booked into the Madison County Sheriff's Office Jail in Rexburg on Thursday evening. Officials released her new mug shot.
She took an overnight flight from Kauai, Hawaii, to Boise. Vallow then got on a private jet from there to Rexburg. Arizona's Family questioned her as she was leaving the airport, and she tried to cover her face.
"We're relieved and hoping maybe she'll talk tomorrow, maybe. I don't know. I don't think it'll be easy. She doesn't make things easy. I don't know, maybe she'll have a change of heart," said Kay Woodcock, JJ's biological grandmother.
Did you see Lori Vallow or her children in Yellowstone on Sept. 8, 2019? If so, the FBI is asking for your photos.
Her kids, 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua "J.J." Vallow, have been missing since September. Earlier on Thursday, the FBI released photos of a Yellowstone National Park trip that happened on Sept. 8. Tylee, J.J., Lori, and Lori's brother Alex Cox were all there. It's considered to be the last known sighting of Tylee. J.J. went missing a few weeks later. The grandmother of the kids said seeing the photos of them is troubling.
Lori Vallow, 46, is facing two counts of felony desertion of a child and misdemeanor charges of resisting and obstructing officers, solicitation of a crime and contempt
"It's sad. It's just sad. If that was the last time J.J. saw Tylee, you know Alex is standing behind them. Was he sitting there figuring out what they were going to do with Tylee? Because Tylee wasn't seen after that day. J.J. was, so it just, it made me very sad. It's a lot of emotions," said Woodcock.
Lori was arrested last month in Hawaii on multiple felony charges, including desertion. She will be in court on Friday at 2 p.m.
