PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Pick up the dog poop. That's what you're supposed to do when your dog does their business. However, Stanley Roberts of Arizona's Family found out that's not always the case at a Dreamy Draw hiking trail and bikeway in Phoenix.

Irresponsible pet owners are ignoring city laws by leaving animal feces all over the trail. There is no dog-poop fairy to pick up your pet's body waste for you. You have to do it yourself.

There are poop removal bags supplied by the City of Phoenix and private citizens, but that creates another problem. You'll find the doggy poop removal bags tossed underneath bushes.

All the people that talked to Roberts acknowledged there is, in fact, a problem with animal feces and the left-over bags.

Caught Misbehaving with Stanley Roberts exposes individuals who brazenly defy the law or common courtesy, risking social and/or legal consequences. His reports air regularly on CBS 5 News at 10 p.m.
