BUCKEYE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Buckeye police have rearrested a man for charges of first-degree murder and child abuse stemming from the death of his 3-month-old son.
25-year-old John-Anthony Centano was arrested Thursday, Buckeye police said.

Centano was previously arrested back in May 2018 for the same charges.
At the time, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office had the case dismissed without prejudice.
Since the case was dismissed, authorities found additional evidence in the case.
A Maricopa County grand jury issued an indictment for the charges and later issued a warrant for Centano’s arrest.
The arrest is related to a June 13, 2017 call Buckeye police received from Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Hospital employees told officers about a baby who was found unresponsive in his Buckeye home.
At the time, the child was being supervised by Centano.
Centano told police that when he found his son unresponsive in bed, he transported his son to the Buckeye Abrazo emergency room.
The child was transported to Phoenix Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation indicated that the child died due to complications from head trauma and the death was ruled a homicide.
