I-10 restricted westbound near Tonopah

PHOENIX, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – A brush fire burning in the area of Tonopah near 411th Avenue forced a lane closure on Interstate 10 Thursday.

The fire was reported near milepost 95, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. 

For a brief time the freeway was closed as crews worked to put out the fire near the freeway. Drivers experienced delays in the area.

The eastbound lanes were not affected.
