GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- DPS on Thursday identified the two victims and the wrong-way driver killed in a crash on northbound Loop 101 near Camelback Road in Phoenix over the weekend.

According to DPS spokesman Bart Graves, Caleb Bencomo, 23, was driving a Nissan Altima south from Maryland Avenue on the northbound side of Loop 101 at about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 2. The Altima collided head-on with a Dodge sedan; both vehicles rolled.

Graves said Bencomo was thrown from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

DPS said the impact sent the Dodge careening into a Nissan Xterra right before it rolled over. DPS identified the driver as Angel Carrillo-Lopez, 29, of Glendale, and the passenger as Reginald Porter, 27, of Los Angeles. Both died at the scene.

The driver of the Xterra suffered minor injuries and is expected to recover.
