PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Two men were found dead in north Phoenix early Sunday morning after a deadly shooting. 

Phoenix police responded to a report of a shooting near 21st Avenue and Thunderbird Road at around 2:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found two men dead at the scene. Investigators believe that the two men were involved in an altercation with another man just before the shooting.

Detectives are still working to learn what led up to the shooting. Police did not immediately release any details about the suspect or the victims. The investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released.
