PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - The mother of a 13-year-old girl who was lured into an open field by a stranger is speaking out, hoping someone turns the man in.
"She's nervous, she's a little scared and stuff. She does not want to walk to and from school," Rosemary, the victim's mother, said.

The girl and her 8-year-old brother were walking to school Monday morning when a man with a feather tattoo on his right cheek asked the girl if she recognized someone in a photo. The man told the girl he would pay her if he showed her where the person in the photo lived. The victim's mom said he made the children walk through alleys and other streets before getting to an open field.
"He told my son to wait there and he took my daughter in there supposedly 'cause there's a house in there and that's when he started assaulting her and hitting her and punching her stomach and her head," Rosemary explained.
The man then asked the 8th grader if she had ever been paid to have sex.
"She told him no and he said, 'well do you want to?' And she said she started getting scared and she tried to run and he pulled her from her hair," the girl's aunt said.
Eventually the girl and her brother were able to run away as other neighbors heard the commotion.
"He was in a red shirt and a hat and that he just disappeared, he went into the bushes over there," said Alyssa Gomez, who lives across the street from the open field.
Gomez said she has seen someone in the area with a feather or leaf tattoo on his face before.
"It makes me feel not safe cause I'm always around here, I'm always walking my baby, always around. I love to walk and now it makes me feel like I can't," Gomez said.
