MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- The Tucson-based restaurant chain, eegee's, is continuing its expansion into the Phoenix metro, announcing the opening of its second location in Mesa this November.
The second Valley location will be located at Crismon Road and U.S. 60 and feature a new prototype design that emphasizes customer convenience. The 2,300 square-foot space will have a unique drive-thru with an eegee-only window for those ordering the restaurant's namesake drink. People will be able to pick up their orders and quickly exit the line. The Mesa location will also have a walk-up order window and dining room partially enclosed by garage doors.
To prepare for the opening of its second location, eegee's is hosting a job fair on Saturday, Oct. 9, at its Gilbert location near Baseline Road and Val Vista Drive. The job fair will go from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. eegee's is looking to hire 50 team members, including store crew members, shift leads and assistant managers. Interested candidates attending the job fair will get a guaranteed interview onsite, plus free eegee samples, swag and raffle prizes. Anyone unable to attend can also apply here.
The Mesa chain will mark the restaurant's 29th location in Arizona. The restaurant chain has plans for additional locations around Phoenix later this year. For more information on eegee's and its Phoenix-area expansion, click here.
