CHANDLER, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- A modern eatery focused on the pairing of food and wine has announced the grand opening of its second Valley location on September 27 at 11 a.m.
Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant is bringing its unique interior blend of a full restaurant INSIDE a winery setting to Chandler on Sept. 27! The restaurant will be next to Chandler Fashion Center, on the southwest corners of Chandler Boulevard and Price Road. Doors open to the public at 11 a.m. for lunch, with last seating at 9 p.m. This will be the lifestyle brand's second West Coast location, with the first being its Scottsdale location that opened in December 2020.
Cooper’s Hawk is a privately-owned company, currently with 46 locations across the country. The Chandler destination will mark the company’s 47th location, with its two Arizona restaurants as its furthest west coast locations. The first restaurant opened in Orland Park, Illinois in 2005, and has locations spanning from Michigan to Florida and along the East Coast.
“At Cooper’s Hawk, we do not believe wine should be intimidating or complicated. Our focus is on creating great-tasting wine and helping our guests discover the ones that suit their taste. We create the wine first, then the menu. Our chefs develop dishes that pair best with each wine. Our guests tell us their dining experience is unique and unforgettable,” Founder and CEO Tim McEnery said.
Since 2005, Cooper's Hawk has received over 500 wine awards from various local, national, and international wine competitions. The wines are made and aged at the main winery in Illinois.
Guests can expect to walk in through a Napa-style tasting room and gift store upon entering and have the option to enjoy a wine tasting with experienced sommeliers. The restaurant will have an expansive dining area, a full-service bar, and a large open-air covered patio with misters for those warmer Arizona days. Cooper's Hawk will also have two private dining rooms, which can be combined to host events of up to 48 people.
Cooper's Hawk's menu options feature contemporary dishes paired with Cooper's Hawk wines, including a gluten-free menu, and another for catering. The main dine-in and carryout menu showcase a wide range of culinary classics, including pasta, seafood, surf & turf, risottos, appetizer sides and salads, burgers and sandwiches, and chicken/beef/pork dishes.
You'll also notice on the menus the Cooper's Hawk Wine Club. Cooper's Hawk offers three different monthly variety memberships, ranging from $21.99 a month for 1 bottle, $41.99 for 2 bottles, and $59.99 for 3 bottles. The club also offers its members birthday rewards and other gifts throughout the year.
