PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Looking for a sweet dog to add to your pack? Meet this loving girl, Georgia. She is looking for a home where she can relax, be independent, and of course get some occasional pets and attention. Georgia is a great dog to have around when you need her. Before you know it, you may fall under her spell because she is just one of those dogs that everyone falls in love with.
Arizona’s Family has teamed up with Animal Care and Control in Maricopa County to showcase the Silver Paws Pet of the Month, with this month being Georgia.
Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) says Georgia is about 9-years-old and weighs about 102 pounds. She is a slow walker but that just means she enjoys the outdoors and wants to spend time with you.
MCACC doesn't know too much about her past but they have noticed some scars around her nose. Even with that, she is a loving, sweet dog that soaks up all the attention she can get. She's not very comfortable with other dogs, so she would be a great only dog in the house and better with kids over the age of 12. She is still very friendly and loves all the people she comes into contact with.
Georgia is also spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a new home. If you are interested in adopting Georgia, check out MCACC's website here.
