But you wont ever hear her complain. "For us - it doesn't do anything to complain or grovel," said Craumer. "Yes, I'm tired, but stuff still has to get done. If nobody does it, then who takes care of her? Who takes care of us?"
Staying busy is something the Phoenix mom does every day, making paying the bills a priority.
This family know what its like not to have a place to live. They were homeless a couple of years ago. "That was a horrible feeling, to know that I lost my job and we got evicted, and it caused so much uproar that my kids were suffering," said Craumer. "I don't ever want that again."
Deonna Kopp has seen how hard Craumer works taking care of her family, while still finding time to volunteer as the leader of their daughters' girl scout troop.
She recently heard about the heater going out on Craumer's mini-van, so she reached out to CBS5 to Pay it Forward to the Girl Scout Troop Leader.
"She never expects anything from anyone, never expects anything in return," said Kopp. "She is just so thoughtful and kind and I think this is something that will be able to show her she is appreciated."
A CBS5 news crew followed Kopp and her family over to Craumer's Phoenix apartment to surprise her and give her $500.
"You are so thoughtful and caring and you do so much for everyone, and we know that, "said Kopp. "Your heater was going out on your car so we reached out to Channel 5 Pay it Forward. On behalf of our family and Channel 5, here's $500. "
"She always goes above and beyond, no matter who it is," said Kopp.
