PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - This week, we Pay It Forward to a special greeter at Phoenix Children's Hospital, whose smile and greeting makes everyone's day.

Tony Bragg has been working security and greeting people at Phoenix Children's Hospital for 8 years, and everyone loves him.

Diana Fitch is the one who nominated Tony for Pay It Forward. "I nominated Tony because when I was getting the scariest news of my life he was there," she said. "My shining star; he made me feel better. He does that with everyone that comes here."
Fitch's youngest daughter was born with a serious heart condition, and they spend weeks, even months sometimes at Phoenix Children's Hospital and Tony is the first person they see each day. Because of his kindness Diana wanted to Pay It Forward to Tony.
So we grabbed our gift card and surprised Tony. "Hey there Tony... We love you so much! You are the most amazing person and you're the face of this place, said Diana. "You touched my heart, and I am sure you touched a lot."
For many families, coming to the hospital can be a very stressful experience. But those who know him say that with every patient, Tony goes out of his way to make all the families feel comfortable.
"You never know how far comfort and care goes," he said." How much comfort and care helps people. I just think I'm out here being me... spreading love. When you get families appreciating that, it's amazing."
Tony is a special guy who is well-deserving of our weekly Pay It Forward Award.
