More than 20 people were attacked by bees near 32nd Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix Friday afternoon at the Muslim Community Mosque.
Fire crews stabilized the scene by spraying the bees with foam and ferrying people from the area using ambulances.
Fire officials say more than 20 people said they got stung multiple times.
One 24-year-old male patient was taken to the hospital.
Everyone is said to be in stable condition.
Victims used extra clothes and blankets to try to cover up.
Fire officials said people should avoid the area until the area is cleared.
After foaming the bees, crews waited for beekeepers to arrive to assist with the removal of the bees.
