Tempe Union High School bus involved in freeway crash; no kids hurt

No students were hurt in a school bus crash on a Phoenix freeway Thursday night.

The Tempe Union High School District bus was headed to a football scrimmage when the accident happened near the I-10 and U.S. 60 interchange.

Students from Tempe High School were on board, but officials say there were no injuries.

Students were able to board another bus and continue on to their event.

There's no word on the cause of the crash.

Traffic was slow in the area but the freeway remained open.
