Crooks break into vehicles across the Valley every day.

Early Tuesday morning, thieves attempted to access two cars in Morgan Riley's Phoenix driveway.

The Phoenix homeowner was able to record the car burglars on his home surveillance system.

"These guys looked like they really knew what they were doing," said Riley. "Very efficient, moving fast and obviously they've been doing it for a while."

Riley's vehicles were locked, and the thieves moved on, but some other neighbors weren't as lucky.

The homeowner is hoping his surveillance video will help police catch the crooks.

He also wants to remind others how important it is to keep their car doors locked at all times.

"Lock your doors - it's that simple," said Riley. "It takes half a second. You can save yourself a lot of grief."
