Teen dead in south Phoenix shooting; suspect at large

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A teenage boy is dead after a shooting in south Phoenix Wednesday evening.

Police say they were called to a mobile home park near Seventh Street and South Mountain Avenue, south of Baseline Road, around 7:30 p.m.

Arriving officers found a boy who had been shot. He died at the scene.

Police say they are still searching for the shooting suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
