PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - Some local girl scouts made sure some seniors weren’t left out during the holidays.
Mary Patterson wrote to Arizona’s Family to tell us about Troop 436 with the Arizona Cactus-Pine Council Girl Scouts.
For their community service project, the group decided to use some of their cookie earnings to give seniors of a low-income complex some Christmas cheer.
The girls stopped by to serve the residents some cake, muffins, coffee, hot chocolate, and punch.
Each resident also received a gift bag of goodies.
As Mary wrote, “It was an amazing turnout. If this event didn’t take place, most of them would not have had a Merry Christmas.”
So thank you Troop 436 for doing Something Good!
