2 dead, 1 seriously hurt after car crashes into a wall in Phoenix
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - Two people have died, and another was rushed to the hospital after a crash in Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon. According to Phoenix police, the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. near 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

Video from Arizona’s Family news chopper showed a red car had plowed through a wall near the intersection. Police say two people died in the crash, and a third person was rushed to the hospital in extremely critical condition but with non-life-threatening injuries. The two people who died were identified later by police as 17-year-old Aron Heeley and 17-year-old Payton Sharp. Some powerlines were down because of the crash and there is an outage in the immediate area which has since been restored. Officers are working to learn what led up to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
