New sportsbook ‘SaharaBets’ launching with Arizona Coyotes as partner

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- As a plethora of sports betting options become available with the recent legalization of mobile sports betting, the Arizona Coyotes has teamed up with two major resorts in Nevada to launch yet another option for residents later this month.

The “SaharaBets” digital sportsbook launches on Jan. 12, under Meruelo Gaming, which is an affiliate to SAHARA Las Vegas and the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

“SaharaBets brings the excitement and reputation of the iconic SAHARA Las Vegas to sports fans here in Arizona,” said SaharaBets President Andrew Patterson. “As the sports betting landscape continues to evolve in the Valley, SaharaBets looks forward to collaborating with the Coyotes organization to engage and interact with sports fans in a fun and unique ways.”
