4 Arizona restaurants make OpenTable’s Top 100 list for 2021

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -The reviews are in, and 4 restaurants in Arizona made OpenTable’s Top 100 restaurants in America list for 2021! OpenTable is a popular online restaurant-reservation website and app used to make reservations, submit and read diner reviews, and earn points toward free meals.

To determine the Top 100 list, OpenTable analyzed more than 10.5 million reviews from restaurants across the United States, all of which were submitted by verified OpenTable diners. The metrics used to determine rankings focused on creative dishes, hospitality, and exceptional experiences for all occasions.

Café Monarch

Known for its culinary excellence and fine-dining experience, Cafe Monarch, located Goldwater Boulevard just south of Indian School Road in Scottsdale, was one of four that made the list! This Old Town Scottsdale gem has a 4.9 out of 5 rating on OpenTable with over 5,400 reviews.

The contemporary-American-based menu is always changing, helmed by seasoned chefs that feature fresh, local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients. Diners get to enjoy four-course prix fixe menus that are designed to wow the taste buds and send guests home full and satisfied. Café Monarch was also recently awarded by TripAdvisor as the #2 Fine Dining restaurant in the U.S. as part of the 2021 Travelers’ Choice Award Best of the Best.

Dominick’s Steakhouse

The northern Scottsdale steakhouse, located on Scottsdale Road just north of Greenway Parkway, also made this year’s list. The upscale steakhouse is a modern fine-dining restaurant in the Scottsdale quarter known for steak (surprise!), seafood, and poolside dining on its roof!

Dominick’s Steakhouse came in with a 4.9 out of 5-star rating based on 4,614 reviews from OpenTable users. Dominick’s also features live entertainment nightly, bringing guests favorites and classics from the ‘60s to today!

Steak 44

The popular go-to steakhouse in Phoenix’s Arcadia district also was named due to the countless reviews praising it as “some of the best food in Phoenix.” Found on 44th Street just north of Camelback Road, this steakhouse rings in another 4.9-star rating, based on 6,877 reviews!

The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Moroni Granillo, they feature a menu with popular dishes including the steak Farina, filet mignon, and crispy shrimp deviled eggs. Feeling thirsty? Steak 44 also has an award-winning wine list and expansive cocktail menu.

Ocean 44

Seafood enthusiasts will enjoy this one! From the creators of Steak 44 and Dominick’s Steakhouse comes the seafood-focused inception established in 2018 near Goldwater Boulevard and Camelback Road. The seafood-savvy restaurant brought home a 4.9-star rating, based on 3,359 reviews.

Ocean 44 follows a similar style to Steak 44 but with an emphasis on fresh seafood from around the world. The open kitchen concept features a raw bar on full display for guests to view and order from. Guests get to even choose between shucked oysters from the West and East Coasts!
