PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Santa’s not the only thing coming to town this week! Kura Sushi is debuting its first location in Arizona at the Camelback Colonnade in Phoenix’s Biltmore area on Wednesday, December 22.

The revolving sushi bar concept, located near 20th Street and Camelback Road, features some unique aspects to enjoying the sushi experience. The sushi plates feature a patented ventilated sushi lid, the express belt gets made-to-order dishes delivered tableside, and the restaurant has a Bikkura Pon Prize system. The system plays a short anime at the diner’s table for every 5 sushi plates, and prizes are dished out for every 15 sushi plates.

For those ready to dig in, you’ll have over 140 options of Japanese dishes void of any artificial sweeteners, seasonings, preservatives, or colorings. The grand opening will take place from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Normal business hours resume on Thursday.
