MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- Emily Bates is the head of Queen B Home. A special-needs teacher for 11 years and now a small business owner, Emily’s passion is creating unique, timeless pieces that hold a special place in both the hearts and homes of her customers.
She hand paints stencil pieces for your wall, can laser print a family picture onto a piece of wood, or engrave a recipe onto a cheese board. Queen B Home will meet your personalizing needs for that extraordinary gift anyone will cherish.
After seven years as a home-based business, Queen B Home just opened its doors on a new storefront in Mesa. She offers a variety of handmade items thanks to some new machines and equipment. In both the physical store and on her website, you’ll find timeless wood signs, engraved gifts such as cutting boards with family recipes, tumblers, T-shirts, and so much more. She specializes in custom work, particularly pet portraits. She’s a huge dog lover and dog mom herself.
Emily especially loves the connections she makes with her customers and loyal followers. She shares her story and life on social media and, in turn, learns about her customers and followers, as well.
Emily says when you buy a piece from Queen B Home, you become a part of their family.
