I was extremely excited to hear about your BrideFiesta Wedding Giveaway. As a soon-to-be married teacher, this opportunity could not have come at a better time.
Beth and I are both in education so we had that natural professional bond. Beth had not had a boyfriend for 10 years prior to meeting me. It was the quintessential, "love at first sight" -- for both of us.
Everything between Beth and I has been almost perfect up until this year. Since the new year, the stress of trying to plan a wedding has taken its toll on us.
As teachers, money will always be an issue. Everything we have sought is way out of our budget. The fact that we live 100 miles apart and owe a combined $40,000 in student loans (We both paid/borrowed for college ourselves.) has caused great distress at times.
I love my work. I love education and the pleasure I receive from seeing my Apache children (and yes, I do think of them as mine) achieve. The price I pay for this is that I cannot afford to provide for my future wife as I want to, as she deserves.
It would be fitting that Beth receive a wedding to remember to accompany the eternal love we share, not to mention a honeymoon we will never be able to afford by ourselves.
Please make her desire a reality.
