On or about January 8th, 2010, the desert skyline of Anthem was changed by St. Rose Church when they erected a large cellular tower on an open trailer. Anthem residents were stunned to see the tower and ignored when they asked for the tower to be taken down. The cellular tower was erected without the required county permit and without the approval from Anthem's Community Council. What makes this story interesting is that the St. Rose Church deacon, William Clower, is also the president of the Anthem Community Council. In other words, the president of the Anthem Community Council seems to have a blatant disregard for his own association’s rules.
