Welcome Home Survivors!
Who can ever forget the blast we had onboard the Yacht "Empress" this weekend. Baron Benham ’s Newport Beach Yacht Soirée hosted 166 of the greatest people to ever come aboard the Empress! We will miss the Empress and she us – until next year that is!
Baron’s Yacht Soirée was a total blast! Survivors please check in as soon as possible at our "Empress" Suvivors Manifest. We need a head count of those that made it back safely. If your name or those of your friends are not listed on our "Empress" Suvivors Manifest please add yourself and/or your friend(s).
The turnout was fabulous!
The Empress was at full capacity. The entire event was video taped by J. Roberto Grassi of Five Corners Film & Video. This will be edited and released in a limited edition Souvenir DVD. Streaming video will also be posted on this site for the enjoyment of all of Baron’s clients, friends and associates. A few other tokens and items of memoribilia may soon be available.
A special thanks to the Special Guests for allowing us to make this adventure possible. First and foremost to Lyle Pearson and Warren Baker and their team from HID Properties and Converged IT.
Next to Chad Rutan and his team from VIX Corp for introducing us to the future of Visual Communications and for inviting a good number of their associates to the Soirée.
Thanks also to Steve Cherry of Telemerchant for his participation and contributions and to Trey Haltom of Rural Web Access for his participation as both my Special Guest and for his tireless efforts at creating the incredible web site invitation for this event.
Trey is now Webmaster for baroncapital.com and serves as the firm's Chief Technology Officer. All of these Special Guests are listed on Baron Capital Management’s sponsors page for future reference.
How about a hand for our troop of entertainers! A special thanks to the group Spoiled, featuring Sturgis Waters and the incredible singer Krystal Baker. Thanks also to R. Paige who made a rare musical appearance with his brother Colonel Pepper on behalf of the Yacht Soirée.
Remember these fine artists because you saw them here first. Someday you may be saying hey, I knew you when we all came a knockin’ and the yacht began a rockin’!
While yesterday’s Soirées are behind us; they leave us with fond memories and many new friends. However, even as we reminisce planning is in the works for yet another terrific Yacht Soirée later this month to be held in Marina del Rey.
Several other Baron Benham Adventures and Unique Soirées are on the horizon, some to be held in exotic locations around the world. We will keep you posted. Hope to see you
