Young Anna Male.

The Adventures in my Backyard.

After a bad molting season for a lot of hummers. The good times are in front of us. This young Anna, I remember him molting, He looked bad. The reason I know it's him is that he would fly up to the lens of my Camera, about a foot away and hover there. He left for awhile, but came back yesterday to compete with an immature male for his feeder. I knew it was him because after he claimed his victory, he flew up to the front of my lens and hovered there. He perched on a limb about three feet from me and allowed me to put my hand about a foot away. Some day i hope I can get him to land on my finger. Sam Wilson
