The conference, “Envisioning the Future of Business in Arizona,” will focus on site selection, urban planning and workplace strategies, as well as education options and their statewide impact.
National speakers will share their success stories and expertise on business models of the future, generational workplace strategies, successful marketing packages and incentives, capturing and attracting new businesses and the link between higher education and economic development.
Cost for the conference is: $345 for AAED member-practitioners, $395 for AAED member-providers, and $495 for non-members. The registration fee does not include accommodations. Additional details are available at http://aaedspringconference2013.eventbrite.com/ or by calling (602) 240-2233.
In addition to educational programming, the conference features AAED’s annual EDDE Awards banquet recognizing Arizona’s top economic developers.
AAED was originally founded in 1974 as the Arizona Association for Industrial Development (AAID). The organization, which was dedicated to expanding the industrial and economic base of Arizona, changed to its current name in 1991 to better reflect its broader mission.
The strategic vision of AAED is to be the leading advocate of responsible economic development for all of Arizona by leading the facilitation of public/private cooperation and fostering teamwork to address the growth and quality of life issues that face Arizona. For more information on AAED, visit www.aaed.com or call (602) 240-2233.
