San Tan Heights in Pinal County (Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, is about 1500 feet elevation. This is the coldest we've seen in several years. In North Phoenix (32nd St and Cactus) in the late 70s we saw 18 and 11 degrees. It froze the banana plant to the ground, but it came back.
