I'm LeRoy Wicklund, I started waterskiing over 55 years ago. I had accomplished pretty much all of it including barefoot by age 21, I decided to try something different, so I began playing with a small version of what's in the video in 1970 and this is what it has grown into today, I'm 68 years young, I've learned when someone tells you, you can't, tell them to step aside and watch ! This is a 6'+ stepladder built by me, highly modified from any hardware store, and a 54" dia. wooden disc. You can find me performing this stunt on Lake Powell periodically throughout the Summer, normally in Warm Creek Bay. Yes I do still waterski on ski's also and barefoot too. When you stop doing the things that keep you young is when you get old.
