(Phoenix) - The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA) Arizona Chapter recently hosted its Ninth Annual Invitational Golf Tournament at McDowell Mountain in Scottsdale. A team from Sigler, an air conditioning wholesale company, won by three-strokes. Winning team member Greg Wille of Peoria recorded a hole-in-one, using a pitching wedge from 106-yards to ace the 14th hole. He won a vehicle electronics package, including a radar detector, GPS, back-up camera and heads up display.
The SMACNA Arizona traveling trophy was awarded to Bel-Aire Machanical, who placed highest among the SMACNA Arizona contractors’ teams. The team finished third overall.
SMACNA is an international association of union contractors in the sheet metal and air conditioning industry representing 4,500 contributing contractor firms.
