May 17 was the Third Thursday event in Downtowon Tempe featuring the spectacular MAD Couture Challenge. Designers were paired with Mill Avenue merchants to make one of a kind designs out of some outrageous materials. This includes recycled street pole banners, lollipops, gift cards, and 35mm film reels! There was a fashion show with the brick streets in Mill Avenue as the runway, live music with Chicks with Picks, and a designers reception to meet and spend time with the designers.
