This is a photo of my son, Mario, embroiled in deep thought as he peers over the Mogollon Rim 28 miles north of Payson on the 300 road. The 300 road stretches across the entire Mogollon Rim and ends at Hwys 260 & 87 at either end. There are treacherous turns and some "whoa!" moments while travelling this road but it is well worth the moments of shock and awe.
