This is Aurora. A female Bald Eagle. She live at Liberty Wildlife were animals are brought when they are injured. I beleive she lost her one eye when she was in the nest and a stick poke her left eye and she junped out of her neast and the parents didn't care for her after that. She was rescuded and brought to a rehab center. She was operated on, but they couldn't save her sight in the eye but they did save the eye. She didn't start out a Liberty Wildlife. She came there after her Trainer/Keeper got to old to care for her so she found a new home at liberty. Liberty has expert trainer's who love animals. I believe she is nine years old now and a very good teaching tool in raptor flight programs .She is one cool bird.
