Sat Dec. 10, 2011 about 10:40pm as we were unloading our luggage from our car, Mark Hall saw something very unusual in the eastern sky. Bright orange / red lights were taking position in the sky before him. They were much larger and brighter than the little white regular stars . Some made formations others just floated silently across the sky..rising from the east and moving in a northwesterly direction. When I got outside, most of the lights were in the pattern of the big dipper, then they moved slowly across the sky and eventually disappeared. This went on for a good 10 minutes. Probably approx 30 plus lights were seen in total. In the end only single bright red/orange lights came across the sky tapering down to none.
