The following images detail the dramatic approach of monsoon storms into the valley on July 9, 2011 as seen from various locations in Scottsdale. The lightning shots were captured near Scottsdale Quarter and depict the storm moving Northeast from Apache Junction/Mesa to Fountain Hills. All images were captured with a Pentax K1000 35mm camera.
