McCartney Ranch Elementary is a Title I school in Casa Grande, Arizona. The students at McCartney Ranch come from various backgrounds. The majority of students attending McCartney Ranch receive free or reduced lunch. Many students are English Language Learners. Most students come to school with limited experiences. Our staff takes great pride in providing them with novel and stimulating encounters.
McCartney Ranch is the only elementary school in Casa Grande that has an after-school science club. The McCartney Ranch Science Club includes members in grades 3-5. Science club members were elated to hear of this opportunity and put forth their best creative efforts to prepare this video. Their goal is to provide a daily weather forecast for 671 students. They look forward to investigating weather trends and sharing this knowledge school –wide. The addition of a Weatherbug will increase excitement, curiosity, and most importantly the love of science for many years to come!
