Mercury Mine is a K-6 elementary school in north central Phoenix. The video was made by 4 of our 6th grade students who are currently studying weather in science. We used a combination of flip cameras and imovie to create our weather show.
If our school had a WeatherBug we would be able to increase our technology and understanding of weather. Also, we are in a location whose weather is affected by the surrounding terrain including Piestewa Peak.
Our kids would be elated to have such equipment at their fingertips!!
