PHOENIX - America’s fast food chains are serving up more than just a quick bite to eat.
According to a new study, some customers are receiving some unwanted extras.
Phoenix ranked second behind Orlando for serving the dirtiest fast food in restaurants across the Valley, according to a recent nationwide survey.
One food safety expert from Healthinspections.com explained the numbers reveal there is actually more of a risk than consumers like to think when eating from fast food eateries. In some of the violations documented, cockroaches have been found on pancakes, mold on onions and employees have been seen licking their fingers before handling food served to customers.
