PHOENIX -- No major changes in our forecast for the weekend around our state. Desert highs will be in the 70s and in the high country, we’ll see highs in the 50s and 60s. We’ll also see periods of high clouds but no rain or snow.

Right now, there’s a bunch of rain falling in central California. That storm, however, is headed well north of Arizona and will have little impact here.

Friday night we have Winter Storm Warnings out for portions of the northern Rockies, so there is some winter weather occurring in the west. It’s just not occurring in Arizona.

We’re finishing up November in Phoenix with an average high of 81 and average low of 56. It’s well above average but it won’t be the warmest November on record for the Valley, which is a little bit of good news.

The two-week trend and monthly forecast for December have essentially remained unchanged. We’re looking for the dry and warm conditions to prevail.
