PHOENIX -- It was a dusty Saturday late afternoon and event for residents of the Valley.
A dust storm moved into the city from the east, heading north and west across town. Wind gusts got as high as 60 mph, with visibility greatly reduced as the wall of dust swept across the Phoenix metro area.
Meteorologist Brittney Shipp said thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected to move into the Valley Saturday night behind the dust.
While there was quite a bit of cleanup required, there were no reports of serious damage.
